This Ceramic Reflector for DEKA Again / Again Pro is designed around the platform’s two-lamp, one-rod laser pump cavity configuration. The reflector accommodates 2 flash lamps positioned around a single laser rod and helps redirect lamp energy back toward the rod to support efficient optical pumping and stable laser output.

The ceramic body also includes 2 dedicated inserts for the Flow Plates, also referred to as UV Plates. These plates form part of the cavity assembly and are installed separately from the reflector itself. Their position within the reflector makes correct fit and alignment important during laser-head assembly and service.

Because the DEKA Again cavity uses two lamps around one rod, the condition of the full reflective surface affects how evenly lamp energy is returned toward the laser medium. Contamination, discoloration, cracking, erosion, or heat-related degradation can reduce reflective efficiency and may contribute to lower output, unstable energy, or difficulty restoring expected performance after lamp or rod replacement.

During laser-head service, technicians should inspect the reflector together with both flash lamps, the laser rod, Flow Plates, cooling path, and seating surfaces. Replacing a damaged or degraded reflector helps restore the optical environment inside the pump cavity and supports more stable energy transfer after cavity maintenance or repair.
