This Nd:YAG HR Mirror for Quanta System laser devices is used as the high-reflector mirror in the 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser resonator. Also known as a rear mirror, this optic reflects Nd:YAG laser energy back through the cavity to support the internal feedback required for stable energy build-up.

The HR mirror performs the opposite role from the OC mirror. While the OC mirror allows controlled laser output from the resonator, the HR mirror is designed to maintain strong rear-cavity reflection so the Nd:YAG section can build energy efficiently before output is released.

Because this mirror is used in the 1064 nm Nd:YAG optical path, it must not be treated as interchangeable with Alexandrite optics or other mirror types.
