This Whatman Polycap Particle Filter for Cynosure Elite IQ provides mechanical filtration within the device cooling-water circuit. Because coolant continuously returns through a closed circulation path, suspended particles that enter the system can otherwise continue travelling repeatedly through the hydraulic circuit.

Particulate contamination may be introduced during coolant changes, reservoir access, tubing replacement, pump work, or other cooling-system service.
